The Kouga Windfarm Trust ECD project: stakeholder meetings

Africa A+ Schools and CECD have started working in the Eastern Cape on the 5 year Kouga Windfarm Trust ECD project. The ECD project activities for the five years include:

  • Structural improvements to ECD centres (CECD)
  • Professional development: training and implementation support (Africa A+)
  • Nutrition (CECD)
  • Leadership: governance and management of ECD centres (CECD)
  • Provision of ECD equipment (CECD)

 The first task was to share information about the ECD project with the community. Six information sharing meetings took place from the 21st – 24th September in Wards 1, 4, 5, 6 and 15 in the Humansdorp and Cape St Francis area:
